Season 11 is a full 3-month Merge Tactics season, running September 1st to December 1st with no monthly resets. It also changes what sits on your board: Supers arrive as 5-Elixir versions of regular troops with two unlockable abilities, the brand-new Rider Trait headlines September, and reworked Boss troops return in October. With 3 new troops, 10 heading out and 17 reworked, this is a full meta reset rather than a small patch.

Season Highlights

  • Season 11 runs September 1st to December 1st with no monthly resets
  • Starsteel Road extended: Diamond League now sits at 4,000 Starsteel instead of 3,000, with Silver IV, Gold IV and Gold V joining the road
  • Cards for 4 Rulers on the road: Royale King, Elixir Loong, Battle Machine and Dagger Duchess, plus an exclusive Elixir Loong Emote at Diamond League
  • New monthly Supers: powered-up 5-Elixir troops with two abilities, four randomly assigned to each player at battle start
  • New Rider Trait with Dark Prince, Hog Rider and Ram Rider in September, and Boss troops returning reworked in October
  • Quest Orbs and new Equipment, new Modifiers and an Echo Sage rework are also part of the season

Starsteel Road Extension

The move to a 3-month ranked season stretches Starsteel Road: Diamond League now sits at 4,000 Starsteel instead of 3,000, and Silver IV, Gold IV and Gold V join the road. More Starsteel means more steps and more rewards, so instead of only 2 Ruler's Cards you can collect cards for 4 Rulers: Royale King, Elixir Loong, Battle Machine and Dagger Duchess. With no monthly resets between September 1st and December 1st, progress you bank early carries the whole way, and an exclusive Elixir Loong Emote waits at the gates of Diamond League.

Elixir Loong Emote

How Supers Work

Supers are powered-up, 5-Elixir versions of regular troops that carry two different abilities, each unlocking once you meet its requirement. Four Supers are randomly assigned to each player at battle start and can be sold for Elixir, so a Super that does not fit your board is still economy rather than a dead slot. The unlock condition changes by month: Rider Supers upgrade when they reach 4 Stars in September, while Boss Supers upgrade to Stage 2 when their HP drops below 50% in October.

September and the Rider Trait

Rider is the brand-new Trait: tiles Riders touch are awakened, granting tiled allies bonus Hit and Movement Speed, which rewards units that move across the board. Dark Prince brings a Shield that blocks all damage until broken and a Combat Start charge to the nearest enemy that deals double damage and stuns surrounding enemies, becoming immune to control and reflecting damage while shielded at 4-Star. Hog Rider leaps forward with an earthquake that damages enemies and slows their Hit and Movement Speed, and at 4-Star that earthquake lasts the whole round, while Ram Rider slows her target's Movement Speed on attack, charges through the Arena knocking enemies back, and gains a snare that disables hits and movement at 4-Star. Prince is reworked to charge the nearest enemy for bonus damage and a knockback, with his 4-Star charge knocking the target out of the Arena.

September Traits

October Boss Reworks

October brings the Boss troops back alongside a reworked returning Trait that grants bonus HP and, when HP drops below 50%, transforms the unit into Stage 2 while scaring off nearby enemies for 3s. Mega Knight jumps on enemies every few seconds for area damage and a 2s stun, then knocks back and stuns on each hit at Stage 2, while P.E.K.K.A strikes all enemies in a line every few hits before gaining lifesteal and Movement Speed. Mini P.E.K.K.A cooks a pancake that levels up a random ally every few hits, then steals energy from the ability bars of troops he attacks and adds it to his own at Stage 2, and Monk knocks his target back every 3rd hit before creating a shield that reflects damage and heals him. Since the Boss Super upgrade only triggers below 50% HP, these units are built to take damage rather than be protected.

Boss

Gains bonus HP and immunity to scare effects. HP below 50%: Transforms into Stage 2, scaring off nearby enemies for 3s (Reworked Season 11)

Mega Knight

Stage 1: Jumps on enemies every few seconds, dealing area damage and stunning them for 2s. Stage 2: Each hit knocks back and stuns target (Cooldown: 6s/5s/4s/3s, Hex Radius: 2/2/3/4)

P.E.K.K.A

Stage 1: Every few hits, her swing strikes all enemies in a line. Stage 2: Gains lifesteal and Movement Speed (Hit Requirement: 4/3/2/1)

Mini P.E.K.K.A

Stage 1: Cooks a pancake that levels up a random ally every few hits. Stage 2: Attacking troops with abilities steals the energy from their ability bar and increases his own (Hit Requirement: 6/5/4/3)

Monk

Stage 1: Every 3rd hit knocks target back. Stage 2: Every few hits, creates a shield that reflects damage and heals him (Hit Requirement: 4/3/2/2)

October Traits

October Modifiers and Card Pool

The October list leans on familiar names with defined kits: Barbarian carries the Clan Trait and gains bonus Hit and Movement Speed for the rest of the round after a few hits, while Archer's arrows deal bonus damage and Valkyrie starts spinning to damage surrounding enemies, both for the rest of the round. Knight brings the Noble Trait and taunts all enemies in range for 2s every few seconds, while Musketeer snipes the farthest enemy in a 6-Hex Radius 3x at Combat Start for bonus damage and a brief stun. Princess fires arrows at the farthest enemy for area damage that slows enemies' Hit and Movement Speed for 3s every few hits, Royal Giant knocks surrounding enemies back 1 Hex every few hits, and Spear Goblin brings the Goblin Trait while selling for bonus Elixir that increases with Merge Level, alongside Dart Goblin.

Winners and Losers

The winners in September are mobile, aggressive boards: the Rider Trait awakens tiles for bonus Hit and Movement Speed, and the 4-Star Super upgrades on Dark Prince, Hog Rider, Ram Rider and the reworked Prince are round-deciding, from a full-round earthquake to knocking a target out of the Arena. In October the winners flip to durable frontlines, since the reworked returning Trait grants bonus HP and turns dropping below 50% into a Stage 2 spike plus a 3s scare, making Mega Knight, P.E.K.K.A, Mini P.E.K.K.A and Monk real anchors. The losers are the 10 troops heading out of the pool and any comp built on lines you have not rechecked, because 17 troops are being reworked and there is no safe carry-over list. Practically, plan your Elixir around the four Supers assigned at battle start and sell the ones that do not fit your comp, and climb early: with no monthly resets from September 1st to December 1st, Starsteel banked in September still counts toward the extended 4,000 Diamond threshold.
