Merge Tactics Equipment
All equipment items in Merge Tactics: combat effects and trait instruments that attach to your troops, earned from Quest Orbs, including the five new Season 11 pieces.
Equipment in Merge Tactics attaches to a single troop and grants it one effect for the whole battle. Items split into two families: combat effects that fire at Combat Start or under a condition, and trait instruments that hand the carrier an extra Trait, which is how you close a synergy you are one troop short of. Every piece drops from Quest Orbs earned by completing your Ruler's quests. Season 11 added Legendary Shield, Legendary Lance, Legendary Axe and Rider Emblem, with Boss Mask arriving in October, and it changed the flow: equipment is no longer auto-assigned, so you attach it yourself during the deployment phase.

Strategy & Tips
- •Save a Quest Orb reward for a 3-Star carry: most effects scale per attack, so the unit that attacks most gets the most out of them.
- •Trait instruments (Clan Horn, Forest Flute, Goblin Lute, Noble Trumpet, Undead Drum, and Rider Emblem in Season 11) pay off most when they push your board over a threshold, for example taking Forest from 3 troops to 4.
- •Juggernaut Armor shields the troop wearing it and everything behind it from control, so it belongs on a frontliner. Knight is the natural carrier now that he taunts: he holds the enemy while the shield covers your backline.
- •Assassin Blade sends its carrier into the enemy backline at Combat Start, so put it on something tanky. A fragile carry will simply get focused down on landing.
- •Equipment is no longer assigned automatically: attach it during the deployment phase or it sits on the bench for the whole round. Check your bench before the round starts.
