Buildings Merge Tactics
Discover all buildings including Tesla, X-Bow, Inferno Tower, Mortar, and Elixir Collector. Buildings are defensive structures that you can deploy on the battlefield. Learn their abilities, strategies, and how to use them effectively in your builds.
Buildings are permanent structures you place on the battlefield in Merge Tactics. Unlike troops, buildings don't move or attack normally: they provide unique utility effects like generating Elixir, dealing area damage, or locking down key enemy units. Each building is tied to a specific modifier that must be active for it to appear in your games. From the Elixir Collector's steady income to the Inferno Tower's escalating single-target burn, buildings add a strategic layer that rewards careful placement. Below is every building in the game with its ability, cost, and tactical role.

Tesla

X-Bow

Inferno Tower

Mortar

Elixir Collector
Strategy & Tips
- •The Elixir Collector pays for itself after a few rounds. Place it early and sell it before the final rounds if you need bench space.
- •Tesla only appears when enemies are in range: position it in the center so it activates against both flanks.
- •X-Bow takes time to charge but deals massive damage. Protect it behind your frontline tanks.
- •Mortar hits the farthest enemy: use it to pressure enemy backline carries from across the map.
- •Inferno Tower melts tanks. Place it where the enemy's highest-HP unit will path into it.
