🧙♀️ 1. Use the Spirit Empress
She's considered the best ruler in the game. Her ability gives 2 elixir per merge instead of 1, giving you a constant long-term economic advantage.
Other rulers might be more stable early on, but over the course of a match, the Spirit Empress generates far more value.
If you don't have her yet, the Goblin Queen is a solid alternative.
💰 2. Learn How to Farm Elixir
"Farming" means generating elixir early so you can buy and upgrade cards later in the mid to late game.
With the Spirit Empress, each merge gives 2 elixir; selling that merge costs 1 → net profit of +1 elixir.
Always buy the cheapest card in the shop to roll more often, find duplicates, merge, and sell: repeat until you can infinitely sustain your elixir cycle.
🔁 3. Learn to Cycle the Shop
Cycling means rerolling the shop efficiently.
- When low on elixir: merge and sell to maintain your supply
- When high on elixir: buy only cards that fit your comp
This endless loop keeps your elixir healthy and ensures you get the cards you need.
🎯 4. Accuracy Over Speed
Many players roll too fast and skip cards they actually need.
It's better to go slow but precise, especially while learning.
Speed comes naturally with experience: every decision should be deliberate and correct.

A comp is a combination of 6 cards that work well together.
Right now, Juggernauts and Brawlers dominate the meta: they usually take up 4 of your 6 slots.
The last two can flex between Assassins, Blasters, or Fire.
Playing the same comps repeatedly helps you recognize shop cards faster and make cleaner decisions.

Each unit should be positioned based on its role:
- Tanks (e.g., Knight) go in front
- DPS (e.g., Goblin) stay behind
- Juggernauts in front so allies get shielded

- Nobles spread front and back for full coverage
Proper placement also helps counter enemy formations effectively.

Don't force the same comp every match.
Adapt depending on:
- What cards you get in your shop
- What your opponents are buying (shared pool = only 4 copies per card)
Avoid competing for the same cards: if your opponent already has 2 Knights, you can only make it 2-star, so pivot to something else.

After each match, ask yourself: "Was it bad RNG or a real mistake?"
